Correction New Shoreham's share of the $3 million Environmental Protection Agency grant for wastewater management described in an article last week is $874,000, not $1.5 million as was incorrectly reported.

The remainder of the money went to the University of Rhode Island for work related to the project, such as the installation of demonstration septic systems on Block Island.

Of Block Island's share of the money, more than half was used for rebates to property owners upgrading their systems.
